Henry Falls-Hand Race Team

Got my mind on a back to back race day! We are starting, by hitting the track today Saturday, August 15th out at Cal Speed in Fontana, with Tri-C Karters. Presently I stand second in the point championship. Cal speed is not my favorite track but I am hoping to keep it clean, stay focused, and hopefully make a podium finish.
By mid afternoon, we will be headed to APEX in Perris (my HOME track), with PAK. This is my favorite track for racing! A great group of karting enthusiasts and skillful drivers. I am successfully leading in points in this 2009 ten race series and championship, and hope to have a checkered finish.
Thanks as always to my team, friends, family and especially my dad/crew chief. Always a blast when I am in the seat of my kart! Also thinking of Matt Million who got tangled up last weekend in a CKI race and broke his collar bone...wishing you a quick recovery and get well!

Last weekend it was PAK at APEX with the checkered flag, and today we are out at Cal Speed for a long race weekend with Tri-C Karters and LAKC. Hoping dad got my kart dialed in. Usual adjustments, but he also changed to a softer axle as my tail had two much bounce yesterday at practice.
A hot day....suppose be a record heat weekend. There will be a big field with many skillful drivers with some smoking hot karts. Hopefully consistency will get me a good spot to the front of the pack and then on to a podium. I will keep my cool and stay focused on my line for a great finish! Eiether way...great fun always.
Thank you again mom and dad for your encouragement and support. Especially to you, dad for your vast mechanic skills...you rock!

After Saturdays practice at Cal Speed we raced on Sunday, June 14th with LAKC. There was a large field of 20 great drivers. I was not real thrilled with the track, but glad dad and I were able to practice yesterday. I was able to get a feel on the track, try to find my groove and my Crew Chief could dial in gears, tire preasure ...

I managed to qualify 9th, but missed the hair pin in the heat race and found myself in the 14 spot for my main event. I was much more consistent on my lap times for the main event, which helped me pull up 5 positions and I finished 9th. Not bad!!

Hoping time in the seat this weekend helps me with some improved driving skills next month when we come back here for a double header race weekend with Tri-C Karters and LAKC. A bigger field of skillful drivers was a welcomed challenge for me, and can only help add to my ability and potential while karting.

My dad/Pit Chief and I are headed out to Cal Speed for a practice today. Just gearing up for Sundays race tomorrow with LAKC. Last time I was out at Cal Speed I was in a kid kart about 3 years ago. It will be really cool being on a completely different track with some drivers I haven't seen for a while.

I am pleased with my kart this season as it has taken me to the podium eight times out of nine races. Three of which were the checkered flag!

My Pit Chief has got things dialed in, but its on me to keep my cool, stay focused, grip my line and lead the pack. There are a lot of skillful drivers out there with me, so the competition is thick. More than anything, I just look forward to getting in the seat and having fun!

Great racing with PAK at APEX in Perris CA. Qualified in the 2 spot behind my friend Ryan Cansdale. In the heat race I managed to take the lead and hold it. The final race was all mine, but Ryan was on my tail the entire time. It took everything I had to keep him there, right up to the finish line where I took the checkered flag and made to the podium for the win. It was great racing up front with a skillful driver like Ryan. Working together with the draft you can pull a good lead over the rest of the field. Thank you to the crew out at APEX for what is always a great day at the track!

Welcome to my blog!

I will be posting race updates, through my blog and tell you if there is any new pictures or videos to see on my web site. The most recent pics to date are from Grange on 4/18/09, where I placed 3rd.
The 2009 race season is off to a good start for me, a few podiums, and a few more trophies for the shelf. I have a great race team and I hope to do well for them this season. Without their support and dedication it would not be possible for me at all.

HEY..., If you would like to be my sponsor, that would be great. Your logo could go on my kart and then be seen in all of my photos and videos. Every little bit helps.....
